Harvard Law School is one of the best law schools in the United States. Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Harvard University is an Ivy League institution. Moreover, Harvard Law School, which was established in 1817, is the oldest American law school that has been functioning continuously since its opening. It also contains the largest law library worldwide.
Harvard Law School offers a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, and a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) degree. Besides this, it offers joint degree programs which combine legal studies with advanced education in a different field. These include programs with the university's Business School and Graduate School of Design.
Cross-registration into unspecified courses is permitted at Harvard Law School. Students also have the option of enrolling for a joint Juris Doctor/Master of Laws (JD/LLM) program which allows students to receive a JD from Harvard Law School and an LLM from Cambridge.
